Our Story

S’pop began in Montreal with two friends, a shared love for good food, and a growing frustration with the snack aisle.

We were constantly searching for something that felt truly clean—something light, nourishing, and satisfying without being overprocessed or packed with empty ingredients. Everything we found felt like a compromise: either “healthy” but bland, or tasty but lacking real nutritional value.

So we decided to create our own.

What started as a simple experiment quickly turned into months of kitchen testing. We tried different popping methods, ingredient ratios, textures, and flavors—taste-testing every version ourselves and sharing honest feedback. If we weren’t both genuinely excited about it, we went back to the drawing board.

Eventually, we landed on a version that felt just right: air-popped popcorn enhanced with spirulina, offering a balance of flavor, crunch, and real nutritional benefits. It was the first time we found ourselves reaching for the same snack again and again—without second-guessing the ingredients.
